These questions have correct answers. They are drawn from the mechanics of chart reading — houses, rulers, aspects, and what happens when the birth time is unknown — rather than from personality description.

What this quiz cannot do

This measures familiarity with a symbolic system and its conventions. It is not a measure of whether astrology predicts anything, which is a separate question the chart cannot settle for you.

You recognise the language — signs, Saturn returns, the general shape of the thing — but the parts that make a chart specific are still fuzzy. That is an extremely normal place to be, because almost all popular astrology content stops at sign descriptions and never explains what a house is or why the birth time matters. The good news is that the mechanical layer is small. It is roughly five concepts, and once you have them, most astrology writing becomes easy to evaluate rather than intimidating.

Where you slipped was in the details that separate a confident reading from a careful one: orbs, house-system disagreements, and the line between what was calculated and what was interpreted. Those corners matter more than they look, because they are exactly where an interpretation quietly stops being supported by the chart and starts being supported by conviction.

Are the answers to this quiz actually correct?

The mechanical ones are: the Ascendant is the rising degree, 92° is a square within a 2° orb, and house systems disagree about house placement rather than sign placement. These are conventions of the system, verifiable against any ephemeris or chart calculator.

Does scoring well mean astrology is true?

No, and the quiz does not claim it does. It measures fluency in a symbolic system, in the same way knowing chess notation measures fluency in chess. Whether the system predicts anything about your life is a separate question that no quiz result settles.

Why does the birth time matter so much?

The Ascendant moves roughly one degree every four minutes, so it can cross an entire sign in about two hours. Everything derived from it — the houses, the Midheaven, the chart ruler — moves with it. The planets' signs barely change; the structure around them changes completely.
